Welcome to beautiful Anaheim, California and the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians Track of the AOA's Annual Osteopathic Medical Conference and Exposition (OMED).

The theme of this year’s conference is Screening. The ACOP CME Committee has lined up an amazing group of speakers, some of whom you know already and others that we hope you will enjoy getting to know. The topics covered are wide ranging and central to ACOP’s theme of Screening. They include pediatric ultrasound, screening for and the effects of adverse childhood events, ADHD update, evaluation and management of pediatric depression and anxiety, assessing and working with children with learning disabilities, sensory processing disorders, emergent conditions in outpatient settings, and hands-on workshops on concussion evaluation and management, as well as osteopathic considerations for the pediatric GI patient.  The conference also includes a Neonatal/Perinatal day with some wonderful and timely topics in the fields of molecular trends in genetics and clinical applications, recent trends in neonatal care, and advancements in non-invasive ventilation.

In the spirit of collaboration and shared interests, ACOP will have joint sessions with both the American Academy of Osteopathy for excellent hands-on presentations on Osteopathic Manipulation, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians for informative sessions on dating and teen violence.

The location offers a number of exciting opportunities outside of the conference. From exploring Disneyland and related theme parks, to relaxing on the beautiful Southern California beaches, to touring Hollywood, to hiking up to see the gorgeous views of the canyons, there is no lack for extracurricular activity.

We look forward to seeing you in magical Anaheim and hope that you have a magnificent time expanding your pediatric repertoire and engaging in meaningful discussions with your colleagues.
